We needed to get my dad and brother, “MIKE!” my mom screamed. They ran back quickly and stopped immediately with a worried look on their faces. I had severely broken my right arm. My dad carried me off of the trampoline trying to move me as little as possible, all as my wrist lay limp. My family and I rushed into the car and to the emergency room.

I ended my second grade summer with a cast full of signatures and a fright towards my trampoline. Although, breaking my arm did teach me the life long lesson of never giving up. No matter how many bumps there may be in the road, always persevere through and you will accomplish what you set out for.
